THE body of diver Rishi Nagassar still cannot be located in the sea line where the bodies of three of his colleagues were found.
A release by Paria Fuel Trading Company at 2 pm on Wednesday stated that there were operations throughout Tuesday night at the #36 Sealine at Berth #6.
The company stated, “Throughout the night consultation meetings were held with other technical experts to review alternative methods while ensuring that the body is recovered. We have attempted on several occasions, using remotely operated cameras to try and locate the body, but have not been successful.
“As we commence the next phase in the recovery process, we are mindful of the careful and respectful retrieval of the body in a manner that minimises any impact to the environment.”
The bodies of three of the men who were with Nagassar have been recovered on Monday and identified by relatives.
The bodies of Fyzal Kurban, Yusuf Henry and Kazim Ali Jr have been recovered while Christopher Boodram was the only diver to be rescued after the incident last Friday.
