ST LUCIA airports are closed to all incoming and commercial flights as of 11. 59 pm on Monday (March 23).
The Government said the airports will be closed until Sunday April 5, 2020.
Aircraft facilitating departing passengers repatriating from Saint Lucia and air cargo operations will be permitted.
This is part of the Government’s efforts to contain the spread or the importation of new cases of Covid-19 virus.
Schools have already been closed and the government has also imposed travel restrictions and scaled back non-essential services in an effort contain the disease.
