AN altercation in St Ann’s has led to the death of 42-year-old man on Thursday.
Police said around 12.45 pm, Marlon Joseph was at his home at Ariapita Road when he got into an altercation with another man.
Reports indicated that the man threatened Joseph with a broken glass bottle.
A third man who walking along the road saw the commotion and intervened and was stabbed in his left arm.
During the struggle, Joseph was stabbed in the neck.
Both injured men were taken to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital for treatment where Joseph was pronounced dead on arrival.
A suspect has been detained by police.
