A man released from the Four Roads Police Station in Diego Martin on Tuesday was shot in the capital city around 10 am.
Police are still searching for the shooters.
Investigators reported that a person who lives at St Paul Street, East Dry River, was released from the station and on his way to his home. While travelling on Wrightson Road near to the PowerGen plant, another vehicle with occupants opened fire on him.
However, he was not injured. One person was shot and taken to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital for treatment, police said.
