A SECURITY officer employed with the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) has been charged with possession of child pornography images.
The 35-year-old man from Penal is expected to appear before a Chaguanas Magistrate on Wednesday, police reported on Tuesday.
The accused was arrested and charged by acting Cpl Baboolal of the Freeport Criminal Investigations Department (CID) on Monday, following the execution of a digital search warrant at his Penal home on March 15 police stated.
While at the man’s home, Freeport CID officers allegedly discovered and seized a large quantity of child pornographic pictures and videos, including those of several juveniles. He was arrested and subsequently charged.
