RESIDENTS of Point Fortin are searching for two-year-old Kimani Francis who disappeared from his home on Monday.
One day after Mother’s Day, the Borough of Point Fortin conducted a massive search to help locate Francis who was reportedly last seen at his 10th Street, Techier Village, home around 10 am on Monday.
Reports stated a resident saw the child barefooted walking along the road and contacted police.
However, it was only when police arrived at his home, then did his mother noticed he was missing.
Point Fortin MP Kenndey Richards Jr also joined search efforts with many villagers, the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service, Fire Service, Hunters Serach and Resucue, other search groups and many others to find the child.
More than five hours, extensive search efforts continued throughout the village, at a near-by river behind his home and as well as Heritage Petroleum Field in Guapo.
