THE search continues for the Chaguanas businessman who was kidnapped on Wednesday at around 2.30pm at his business place.

Police reports are that Kartikey Ramsundar, the owner and operator of Riverside Marina along Cacandee Road in Felicity, Chaguanas, was at work when three masked men entered the establishment.

Ramsundar was beaten and forced into a white SUV which was parked nearby.

Part of the incident was captured by CCTV cameras nearby.

About 30 minutes later, a vehicle which appeared to have been set on fire was found a short distance away along Bernard Street.

Police suspect it was the vehicle used in the kidnapping and that the criminals may have switched vehicles.

President of the Chaguanas Chamber of Industry and Commerce (CCIC) Richie Sookhai told AZPNews.com that the Chamber supports the family during this difficult period and remains hopeful that he will be found soon.

He also said the Cancandee Road stretch was in need of CCTV cameras as there were several questionable activities along that road.
