THE Secondary Entrance Assessment Examination (SEA) will take place on August 20, 2020.
This was revealed by Minister of Education Anthony Garcia at the virtual media conference on Wednesday.
He said SEA students and their teachers will be asked to come out to school from July 20, 2020 until the examination.
Since this is the vacation period, Garcia said in addition to their salary, the ministry will pay a stipend per day as follows:
Principals – $900
Vice principals who teach SEA classes – $650
Senior teachers – $600
Heads of department who teach SEA classes – $550
Teacher 1 – $500
Assistant teacher – $400
Garcia said $20 million has been allocated for stipends of teachers and supervisors who will be in school during the vacation period.
