PRIME Minister Dr Keith Rowley meets with members of the Mumbai business community in India on Wednesday.
He was accompanied by his wife Sharon Rowley, Minister of Works and Transport Rohan Sinanan, Minister of Sport and Community Development Shamfa Cudjoe-Lewis and Trinidad and Tobago High Commissioner to New Delhi, India, Roger Gopaul.
This was stated in a post on the Facebook page of the Office of the Prime Minister on Thursday.
Dr Rowley travelled to India from Ghana where he was the guest of honour of the 25th anniversary of the ascension of Monarch of the Ashanti Kingdom, The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
During a post-Cabinet press conference last month, Dr Rowley revealed that the Reliance group of India will be involved in a private public partnership for a cricket academy at Trincity in east Trinidad.
He said he was travelling to India to meet the Ambanis- the owners of the Reliance group.
