PRIME Minister Dr Keith Rowley leaves today for Canada.
A release from the Office of the Prime Minister on Monday stated that Rowley will attend the Canada-CARICOM Summit hosted by Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
Finance Minister Colm Imbert will act as Prime Minister in Rowley’s absence.
It means that Dr Rowley will miss the Standing Finance Committee which will have its third sitting today after the 2023/2024 Budget was passed in the Lower House last Wednesday. The sittings of the committee are expected to end on Thursday.
