PRIME Minister Dr Keith Rowley has donated sheep to a non-governmental organisation Vision on Mission.
On Monday, Dr Rowley on his Facebook page posted information about the NGO founded by Wayne Chance.
Chance died of cancer in November 2019 at the age of 47.
Dr Rowley posted, “You know what Vision on Mission is? It’s an NGO that helps people who come out of prison and have no means to get back into society by doing law-abiding things to survive. It includes even deportees who land here knowing nobody because they left here as children. If as adults they run afoul of the law they get dumped back here as hapless people who can easily turn to crime to survive.
“Wayne Chance (deceased) started this Vision on Mission to provide an avenue for such persons to be gainfully engaged in things like agriculture. His wife continues the program with some government support and private sector help.”
