THERE will be a traffic disruption along the southbound lane of the Uriah Butler Highway over the weekend.
The Ministry of Works and Transport said the disruption would take place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. from November 23 to24, 2019, due to slope works.
The disruption would take place
- B 1/5 Uriah Butler Highway (southbound), 4.97km mark; bridge right before the Caroni Flyover
- B1/6 Uriah Butler Highway (southbound), 5.88 km mark; first bridge after the Caroni Flyover
- B1/7 Uriah Butler Highway (southbound), 6.40km mark; second bridge after the Caroni Flyover
- B 1/9 Uriah Butler Highway, (southbound), 8.19km mark; bridge in the vicinity of the recently closed American stores.
The Ministry said a minimum of two lanes will remain open to motorists in the southbound direction along the highway at all times.
Motorists are asked to proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and to comply with instructions from police officers.
