THERE will be temporary traffic disruptions in Las Lomas No #1 until next Wednesday
A release from the Ministry of Works and Transport (MOWT) stated that the disruption will be at Las Lomas No 1 between Jabber Avenue and Ajodha Road as well as along the Caroni South Bank Road between El Carmen No 2 and Rita Avenue from February 3 to 9.
This is to facilitate road rehabilitation works from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm, the release stated.
MOWT advised that traffic during this period would be limited to a single lane within a section of the work zone as well as moderate periods of traffic stoppage.
Motorists are advised to proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and barriers, comply with instructions from police officers or flag persons who are on-site to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic, be aware of equipment entering/exiting the site and drive at a reduced speed and proceed with caution on approaching the work zone.
