IT was a record-breaking day for Covid-19 in Trinidad and Tobago on Thursday with the highest number of positive being reported in a single day – 1,063.
The Ministry of Health in its latest update (#975) on Thursday reported the positive cases and 18 more deaths due to Covid-19.
Since the pandemic started more than 104,000 people have tested positive for the coronavirus.
The ministry also stated that 102,740 boosters have been administered while 48.7% of the population of Trinidad and Tobago is fully vaccinated.

Patients in the parallel healthcare system who were not fully vaccinated were 10,863 or 85.0%, while 1,914 or 15.0% were fully vaccinated based on data from July 22, 2021, to January 5, 2022.
