THERE have been nine more deaths due to Covid-19 in Trinidad and Tobago.
This is the most reported in any one day.
The ministry in its update on Tuesday noted that five women and four men have died of the coronavirus.
It stated that the deceased comprised three elderly males, three elderly females and one middle-aged female, all with comorbidities. While the other two were a man and woman both middle aged without comorbidities.
The total deaths due to Covid-19 now stands at 224 in T&T.
The release stated that there were 348 new positive Covid-19 cases while 32 patients were discharged from public health facilities and 87 recovered community cases.
These positive cases were taken from samples during the period May 8 to May 10.
