ON Saturday, 33 persons died as a result of Covid-19, the highest daily number of deaths reported since the pandemic began. Just three days ago 32 deaths were reported.
There are also now more than 15,000 active cases in Trinidad and Tobago.
In its latest Covid-19 update (942), the Ministry of Health also reported 956 new positive cases taken from samples during the period December 14 to December 17.
