“My friend, my colleague, Mr Dinesh Rambally, my brother-in-law as a lawyer,” he referred to Rambally.
Rambally was also recognised by Roger Monroe, PNM candidate for Toco/Sangre Grande.
Monroe told supporters, “I must recognise, my parliamentary colleague and good friend, though we sat on different sides, I must welcome him to the most beautiful constituency across Trinidad and Tobago -Toco/Sangre/Grande. The Member of Parlaiment for Chaguanas West Dinesh Rambally, welcome him to Toco/Sangre Grande.”

Rambally’s appearance at the PNM meeting comes after an interview with Prime Minister Stuart Young aired on Radio and TV Jaagriti last week. Young was scheduled to be the feature speaker at the Sangre Grande meeting.
Rambally had told AZP News that Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar whom he had served under in the Parliament was also invited for an interview but there was no confirmation.
He was among five former UNC MPs who contested the party’s internal election on a ticket opposing one supported by UNC political leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar.
