TABAQUITE MP Dr Surujrattan Rambachan, donates 20 tablets to the principal and the Naparima College Association of Past Students.
Naparima College is his alma mater.
In his Facebook page, Rambachan said he responded to the needs of the students who require computer access to facilitate online learning during this Covid-19 pandemic.
The MP said, “As a former student, along with my wife and daughter I decided to make this contribution.”
He said, “The students who will receive this got into this prestigious school based on merit and it is important for us to assist where needed. These students were not favoured by anyone and worked hard to get here.
“We are now giving them a life opportunity for growth and development.”
He made the donation last week and praised the Naparima College Association of Past Students for their commitment to human development as they also provide dietary support for students in need.
