DENNIS Pulchan is the new Commissioner of Prisons.
He was handed his instrument of appointment on Tuesday in a brief ceremony at the Service Commissions Department.
Pulchan has been promoted to the rank of Commissioner of Prisons by the Public Service Commission, with effect from September 1.
Pulchan has stated that he was honoured and humbled to be confirmed in the position and will continue to serve the citizenry and uphold the mandate of the Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service.
