PRIME Minister Dr Keith Rowley leaves the country today (Monday) to attend the swearing-in ceremony for Barbados’ first President.
He will be accompanied by his wife Sharon Clarke-Rowley.
Minister of Finance, Colm Imbert will act as Prime Minister until his return, the Office of the Prime Minister stated.
President Paula-Mae Weekes will also be attending the historic ceremony.
Dame Sandra Prunella Mason will be inaugurated as the first President of Barbados on Tuesday.
