Power Outage: Princes Town Licensing Office Closed

DUE to a power outage, the Princes Town Licensing Office is closed today (Wednesday, October 19, 2022).

The Ministry of Works and Transport, in a press release stated that the office was closed at of 9.30 am.

Persons affected by the closure are not required to reschedule their appointment and will be accommodated via walk-in any day during the period October 20 to 26, the ministry stated.

To complete a transaction, an individual must provide proof of their previously scheduled appointment for the Princes Town Licensing Office. 

Additionally, persons are reminded that proof of address (utility bill no older than three months) is required to complete a licensing transaction.

The accepted forms of proof of address include a cable bill, home internet bill, electricity bill or water bill. If a customer does not have a utility bill in their name, he or she is required to produce a letter of authorization from the owner and a copy of their national identification. 

The Ministry of Works and Transport apologised for any inconvenience caused and thanked the general public for their continued cooperation.
