CRICKET West Indies Chairman Ricky Skerritt has announced that Kieron Pollard will be the new captain of the West Indies One-day International and T20 white ball teams.
He made the announcement at a news conference at the Hilton Trinidad on Monday.
Pollard is currently captaining the Trinbago Knight Riders in the absence of Dwayne Bravo who sustained an injury which will keep him out the 2019 Hero Caribbean Premier League.
West Indies go to India in December where they will play a number of ODIs and T20s against the home team and Afghanistan.
