DURING a search in Diego Martin police found a plastic bag containing marijuana last Thursday.
A release by the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) on Tuesday stated that during an exercise on Thursday between 10.30 am and 7.15 pm officers acting on intelligence information searched an open lot on Gokool Street, Diego Martin.
During the search, they discovered 497 grammes of marijuana in a green plastic packet. The seized items were transported to the St James Police Station for further processing.
This operation was authorised by Senior Superintendent Henry and Acting Sergeant Lynch, coordinated by Inspector Grant and led by Sergeant Hunte.
It was supervised by Corporal Sahadath and involved members of the Western Divisional Task Force, including Police Constables Clement, Myers, Rogers, Bocage, Figueira, Arthur, and Anderson.
