ANOTHER man has dies following a police-involved shooting in Enterprise, Chaguanas on Friday morning.
Police reports are that around 9.35am, two officers were in a marked police vehicle on mobile patrol in Enterprise. During the patrol, the officers stopped a vehicle along Enterprise Street, Enterprise.
While approaching the vehicle, the officers saw the driver, Jade Phillip, pointing a firearm in their direction.
One of the officers fired in the direction of the suspect, who fled the vehicle in an attempt to escape.
The officers attempted to arrest the suspect and a struggle ensued during which the suspect was shot.
He was handcuffed and taken to the Chaguanas Health Facility where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
One pistol was recovered and investigations are ongoing.
