CANAAN – POLICE have arrested three men with about two kilogrammes of marijuana worth $17,000 in Tobago on Thursday.
According to a release from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), officers of the Emergency Response Patrol Unit saw a white Nissan Tiida driving at a fast speed.
The officers intercepted the vehicle at Milford Road in Canaan and after a search found 1.73 kilogrammes of marijuana concealed in three packages in the front driver’s seat and the right back door.
The marijuana has an estimated value of $17,300.
Police arrested three men between 26 to 37 years old. All three are from Trinidad.
