THREE persons were caught red-handed breaking into a house on Monday.
The three individuals, two 17-year-olds and a 23-year-old man were arrested, police reported on Tuesday.
Police stated that around 7.40am, a woman reported to the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) Charford Court Base that she visited her property located at Siparia Hill, East Dry River, Port-of-Spain, and observed that the property had been broken into and that there were persons inside.
Upon receiving the report, a party of officers attached to the Base responded. When the officers arrived at the location, the three persons were discovered on the premises and immediately arrested. The 23-year-old was taken to the Besson Street Criminal Investigation Department (CID) pending further enquires while the teens were taken to the Child Protection Unit Booking Centre at the St. Joseph Police Station.
