SEVEN out of 17 people were arrested by police between Wednesday and Thursday for breaching Covid-19 regulations.
A release by the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) stated that the exercises took place between 7 am on Wednesday and 3 am on Thursday in the Northern Division.
During the exercise the officers arrested:
- 6 persons for outstanding maintenance warrants in the Arima District;
- 7 persons for breach of Covid-19 regulations;
- 1 man was also arrested for larceny of a quantity of premium alcohol, keys and automatic gate controls.
