THE People’s National Movement (PNM) is warning about a Facebook page that it says is falsely presenting itself as being affiliated with the party.

In a media release on Saturday, the PNM said the page titled “RedReadynResponsible” is not connected to the party in any official capacity.

It stated, “The Facebook page ‘RedReadynResponsible’ is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to the PNM in any way.”

According to the release, the views and content shared on the page are solely those of its administrators and do not reflect the party’s official stance or communications.

The PNM is urging citizens to be cautious in the lead-up to the General Election, noting that opponents are engaging in what it described as a disinformation campaign.

It stated, “Members of the public are advised to exercise caution and use great discretion… as those opposed to the PNM idly, deliberately and viciously wage yet another disinformation and mischief-filled campaign.”

The party encouraged the public to rely on its verified platforms for accurate information.
