PRIME MINISTER Dr Keith Rowley was not in Tobago on Christmas Day.
This according to a release of the Office of the Prime Minister on Boxing Day which responded to an article in the Trinidad Guardian.
The release stated, “The Trinidad Guardian, in a story written by Gail Alexander with the headline How Politicians Spent Christmas Day, inaccurately reports that Prime Minister Dr the Hon Keith Rowley spent Christmas Day in Tobago.
The Prime Minister travelled to Tobago last week for the opening of the Roxborough Police Station and the opening of the Prime Minister’s official residence. Dr Rowley then returned to Trinidad where he continued his work.
The Prime Minister spent Christmas Day in Trinidad with his family. He will return to Tobago later this week and will remain there until after the New Year.
