PRIME Minister Dr Keith Rowley has been isolated after he is identified as a primary contact of a positive Covid-19 patient.

A release from the Office of the Prime Minister on Saturday stated: “The PM has been identified as a primary contact of an individual who tested positive for Covid-19.”

However, as required by the existing health protocols, the Prime Minister has been isolated and tested.

Officials stated that, “The test result is negative but the prime minister is required to remain in isolation until a further test is conducted next week.”

Dr Rowley was Covid-19 positive in April this but has since recovered and has taken his Covid-19 vaccine.

On Saturday, Tobago East MP Ayanna Webster-Roy, who is also a Minister in the Office of the Prime Minster, confirmed that she was Covid-19 positive.

  1. This is further proof that the Covid-19 vaccine PM Rowley took is of no use if he still has to isolate and worry about contracting Covid-19 again after being in contract with someone who has since tested Covid-19 positive despite both parties being C19 vaccinated.

  2. Last time the PM was infected with COVID he claimed he had taken every precaution and didn’t know who and how he got COVID-19. Now after having built up Immunity, and gotten a dose of the vaccine he is still at risk? Who was he in contact with ? When? who was he in subsequent contact With? When did he know?
I ask because on Tuesday he announced that a Cabinet Member was quarantined but Rowley showed up at a public meeting with hundreds of people according to his public statement.. and he went to Parliament the very next day. So was he being criminally reckless if he know on Tuesday that HE was exposed. If the exposure was the Cabinet Minister, and she was present during the retreat to Tobago last week how is it that HE ALONE was affected but NO OTHER Cabinet Minister or MP who were present?
