As predicted, I expected Switzerland to win this game and they did. This was a very entertaining affair. They have four points and are almost guaranteed a spot in the next round as a third place qualifier. A double from Shaquiri in the 26th and 68th sealed the victory following Seferovic early 6th minute strike. At one point it looked like Switzerland would put at least four past Turkey.
It was an even game with Turkey having 49% of the possession, 19 shots at goal and six on target. Switzerland had 23 shots with ten on target. This game was end to end action and hopefully we see more like this in the remaining first round matches.
