THE negative Covid-19 PCR or antigen test requirement to enter Trinidad and Tobago is be discontinued from Friday.
This was announced by Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh on Wednesday at the Ministry of Health’s virtual Covid-19 update.
Deyalsingh was authorised to make the statement by Acting Prime Minister Colm Imbert.
He said, “As at Friday 1st July, the need for PCR and or antigen testing to enter Trinidad and Tobago will be stopped.”
It is the latest Covid-19 measure to be removed by the Government.
And even though he was again questioned on when the mask-wearing mandate will be removed, Deyalsingh said at this time, it continues to remain in place until further notice.
