No Covid-19 Patients at Caura Hospital

THERE are no Covid-19 positive patients at the Caura Hospital.

This was announced by the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr Roshan Parasram at the virtual news conference on Friday morning.

He said there were no patients at the Caura Hospital and ten at the Couva Hospital and Multi-Training facility.

At the stepdown and transitional facilities, Dr Parasram said there were eleven at Brooklyn in Sangre Grande and 38 at the Home of Football in Couva all of whom were low risk stable patients.

Dr Parasram said there were 1,226 patients who were tested.

He said 1,473 samples have been tested with 247 people being tested at least more than once.

Dr Parasram said 115 people have tested positive with eight deaths and 48 people discharged.
