CLOSE to 6,000 samples have been tested for Covid-19 in Trinidad and Tobago.
The Ministry of Health’s update on Thursday morning stated that 5,901 samples have been tested by the Caribbean Health Agency (CARPHA) and the University of the West Indies site at Mt Hope.
It noted that 4,442 people have been tested with 1,459 tested more than once.
The number of samples tested positive remains at 133 with eight deaths and 124 discharges.
One positive patient is at the Caura hospital according to the release.
