A man was fatally shot in Valpark on Wednesday evening while leaving a nightclub with his girlfriend, according to initial reports.

The couple had been at an upstairs club and were walking to their car when multiple gunshots rang out in the car park.

Witnesses said the man collapsed, bleeding, as his girlfriend screamed for help. A vehicle was seen speeding away moments after the shooting.

No arrests had been reported.
