THREE persons were shot at on Wednesday afternoon in Morvant.

One Atiba Riley was pronounced dead on arrival at the Port-of-Spain General Hospital. Another Lennox Petioni was shot in buttocks. And Abdool Mohammed is listed as critical condition.

Police reports are  a silver Tiida drove up Chaconia Avenue and the occupants opened fire on the men who were in a yard with open gates. Senior Supt Winston Maharaj and a party of officers are presently on the scene along with the North Eastern Division Task Force and the Morvant CID.

And there is also a report  of a murder in the Cunupia district at Homeland Gardens. Victim’s name is Richard Joseph. More details will be  provided.
