THE Opposition has no right in raising any issues relating to the Sikorsky S76D helicopter says Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley.
“The Opposition would do well to keep quiet on that matter,” he said on Thursday.
Speaking at the post-cabinet media briefing held in Tobago, Dr Rowley said in September, the relevant minister will make a statement in Parliament regarding the helicopter.
His comments come after Oropouche East MP Dr Roodal Moonilal asked whether the government has scrapped the leased Sikorsky S76D helicopter.
This after a photo was posted on social media of a helicopter being towed.
In an interview on Thursday with ieNews, Dr Moonilal called on National Security Minister Fitzgerald Hinds to tell the country about the current status of the leased Sikorsky S76D helicopter.
