MINISTER of Energy and Energy Industries Dr Roodal Moonilal will be leading a high-level delegation to Guyana to participate in the Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo 2026.

The Expo is scheduled to take place from February 17 to February 20.

The members of the high-level delegation are:

• Senior Geologist, Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries Ronald Seecharan

• Chairman, Heritage Petroleum Limited Kurt Ramlal

• Chairman, Guaracara Refining Company Limited Gowtam Maharaj

• Acting Chief Executive Officer, Heritage Petroleum Company Limited Kerry Rampersad

• Maintenance Lead, Paria Fuel Trading Company Limited Manmohan Balkaran

A release from the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries on Friday stated that Trinidad and Tobago’s participation in the event will further advance discussions on energy related matters with Minister of Natural Resources of  Guyana Vickram Bharat, who personally invited Dr Moonilal to attend.

The release stated, “As an established and mature energy producer with decades of experience in the oil and gas sector, Trinidad and Tobago continues to leverage its extensive operational expertise to support regional energy development.

“Participation in the conference reflects the government’s strategic focus on further strengthening Trinidad and Tobago’s position as a hub for energy services, technology and innovation within the Caribbean.”
