This was his first major personal concert since he ended the Machel Monday event in 2020.
On Monday, the centre was transformed into the Soca Kingdom and included performances from soca artistes Bunji Garlin, Fay Ann Lyons, Superblue, Kerwin DuBois, Nadia Batson, Voice, Lyrikal, Skinny Fabulous and Patrice Roberts.
Tarrus Riley, Ding Dong and Wyclef Jean were guest performers.
The event was staged by Live Nation and JayUpscale in collaboration with the Monk camp.
Montano gave thanks on social media.
He said, “Every single seat sold and then some! I can’t explain how this makes me feel, there just not enough words that could ever explain!”
He thanked all involved in the production including the dancers, technical staff and promo team, his fans, friends and family.
“The whole ah Kingdom came down! I love you all, I thank you all for making this dream a reality! We did it … no radio, no tv … we did it in ah real life! Thank you,” Montano posted.
