Monday’s Weather: Overcast, Expect Thunderstorms as Beryl Passes

Today: Cloudy to overcast conditions with widespread showers, frequent thunderstorm activity and gusty winds in excess of 65km/h associated with Hurricane Beryl. Gradual improvement can be expected by the evening. 

The Remainder of the Lesser Antilles: 

Cloudy to overcast conditions with scattered showers and extended periods of light rain. There is the 70% (high) chance of scattered thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds in excess of 55km/h. Street/ flash flooding and gusts likely in the event of heavy downpours.

Seas are rough with waves 2.5 metres to four metres, occasionally above four metres near Tobago and the Windward Island in open waters. While waves are one metre to 2.5 metres above 2.5 metres near Tobago and the Windward Islands in sheltered areas.
