THE compassion and commitment of Odelle Lalman-Baptiste as a healthcare worker will not be forgotten.
Minister of Health Terrence Deyalsingh and the ministry by extension expressed condolences at Lalman-Baptiste untimely passing.

In a media release on Sunday, Deyalsingh said, “Nurse Lalman-Baptiste, began her career as a nurse in 2021, and dedicated her life to the care and service of others.
Her loss is not only heartbreaking for her family, but for the entire public health sector, including her colleagues at the Point Fortin Hospital where she worked. We mourn the loss of a healthcare hero whose compassion and commitment will not be forgotten.”
The release stated, “The Ministry of Health offers heartfelt sympathies to her family and friends during this difficult time.”
Lalman-Baptiste body was discovered in Carlsen Field on Saturday, after she was kidnapped on Friday during a robbery.
