Captain of the Hunters Search and Rescue Team Vallence Rambharat said a five-member team was searching for Ragoonanan for just about an hour on Friday when the body was spotted from a moving vehicle along the SS Erin Road in Debe.
Rambharat told AZP News a distressed call was made by the family to the team around 1 am on Friday and the search commenced at 1 pm.
He said, “The body from what we observe, the wrists are tied. We called the police. The police told us that he received five gunshot wounds about his torso and stomach. From what we observed, it didn’t look as if his body was just tossed out of the vehicle. We believe he was probably released from the vehicle, told to run and then shot after based on the amount of blood we saw.”

Ragoonanan, 46 of La Fortune La Romaine was reported missing to the San Fernando Police Station that same day.
A friend of Ragoonanan told AZP News just two weeks ago, he travelled with him from Penal to Debe as he worked as a taxi driver sometimes and they were able to chat a bit.
“This is really sad. It’s not fair. He called yesterday just after 4 to tell his family, he was coming home and that was the last of it,” he said.
