MISS Thailand Opal Suchata has been crowned Miss World 2025.
Suchata is the first Thai national to win the competition in its 72-year history.
In her acceptance speech, Suchata said, “This moment is not just a personal victory, it is a shared dream of every young girl who wants to be seen, heard, and create change. I am honoured to represent this legacy and use my time as Miss World to make a real difference.”
Miss Ethiopia Hasset Dereje was crowned first runner up, with Miss Poland Maja Klajda being named the second runner up. Miss Martinique Aurelie Joachim was crowned third runner up.
Miss World 2025, themed “She Moves The World” was held at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, on 31 May 2025.
Beauty queens from 108 countries entered the pageant and were given the opportunity to participate in immersive cultural experiences, philanthropic challenges, and purpose-driven initiatives.
Miss Trinidad and Tobago Anna-Lise Nanton, made it to the quarterfinals before being eliminated.
