BY the middle of this month, mandatory mask-wearing will end.
This according to Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley speaking at a media conference at the VIP Lounge of the Piarco International Airport just before he left for a CARICOM meeting in Suriname on Saturday.
It was the second time in as many days he spoke about mask wearing.
At the opening of the Fish Fry at Carenage, said he would meet with public health officials to discuss the removal.
On Saturday, he said, “Barring any unforseen surge in any new variant, we should be taking these masks off by the middle of this month which is the next two weeks.”
