Upon arrival at the scene on Charlotte Street, Port-of-Spain, the task force officers conducted further enquiries which led them to an empty lot in San Juan.

There police said  they found a quantity of alcohol valued approximately $8,100 under a plastic tarpaulin. A suspect was later detained and taken to the Port-of-Spain City Police Headquarters, pending further enquiries.

During the investigation, a man entered the Port-of-Spain City Police Headquarters and reported to officers that earlier in the day, he was delivering products to a supermarket when parked his two-tonne truck and went away.

The driver later returned and observed a man walking in front of him with a case of White Oak in his hands. The driver also told police that he saw another man sitting outside of the supermarket oddly watching him.
