ALL Licensing offices nationwide will continue to be closed until July 4.
This is in keeping with the extension of the Public Health Regulations and restrictions.
The Ministry of Works and Transport on Tuesday in a press release stated, “Given the demand for appointments, members of the general public are advised to utilise all available time slots for Licensing Offices across Trinidad and Tobago if your preferred location is unavailable.”
Persons with existing appointments during this period of closure will be required to reschedule their appointments via the online scheduling portal at https://licensingappointment.mowt.gov.tt/ utilising a date after July 4.
Additionally the ministry reminded that all holders of driver’s permits, taxi driver’s licence, badge, certificate or other documents issued by the Licensing Division which have expired by January 1, 2021, will now be deemed valid until October 1, 2021 or at a later date specified by Minister of Works and Transport Rohan Sinanan.
The ministry stated, “Citizens are urged to practice social responsibility as we collectively navigate these trying times. The Ministry of Works and Transport apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks the public for their cooperation and understanding during this time.”
