REPAIRS to a 42-in main at Cumuto will cause a disruption in the water supply to people in northeast Trinidad.
A release on Friday from the Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) stated that customers in parts of northeast Trinidad, served by the North Oropouche Water Treatment Plant, will experience an interruption in their water supply from 11 pm on Saturday to 10 am on Monday.
It stated that emergency repairs are being done to a leaking 42-inch diameter pipeline, located west of Cumuto Traffic Lights, Churchill Roosevelt Highway, Cumuto.
Affected areas include:
Sangre Grande (Town);
Sangre Chiquito;
Manzanilla;
Coalmine;
Guaico/Guaico Tamana;
Malabar Phases 1,3 & 4;
Tumpuna Road;
San Rafael;
Brazil;
La Horquetta;
Carapo/O’Meara Road;
Signature Park/Mausica Road;
Maloney Gardens; Five Rivers;
Millennium Park;
Sunrise Park; and
Golden Grove Road
