KING Charles III has been diagnosed with cancer and commenced treatment on Monday.
The revelation comes in the aftermath of the King’s recent hospitalisation for a benign enlarged prostate, where medical professionals identified a separate cause for concern.
Buckingham Palace, in a statement, disclosed that “subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer,” refraining from specifying the exact type of cancer afflicting the 75-year-old monarch.
The news has prompted Prince Harry to make arrangements to return to the UK from the United States in the coming days.
According to the Palace’s, Prince Harry has already spoken to his father and is set to join the family.
King Charle is being treated as an outpatient and is presently at home in London on Monday evening.
In response to medical advice, King Charles has been advised to temporarily postpone public duties.
