‘Jack Sparrow’ Kidnapped in Tobago

A TOBAGONIAN man is missing after he was taken against his will at Bon Accord in Tobago by two men.

A release from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) on Saturday stated that Joseph Ramkissoon, 48, a fisherman of Cotton Trace, Golden Lane in Tobago was reported missing by his wife on January 23.

Ramkissoon, who is of East Indian descent, is brown in complexion, has a black dreaded hairstyle, five feet, eight inches tall, slim built and approximately 140 pounds with bushy facial hair. He was wearing a pair of dark-coloured pants, and a dark coloured t-shirt. He was last seen at his home on January 19.

He is also known as Jack Sparrow.

Police said that they have information that he was two men of East Indian descent, driving a dark-coloured
vehicle went to the Gibson Jetty, Bon Accord, and took Ramkissoon against his will.

The release stated that investigators are currently treating this investigation as a kidnapping and they are asking anyone with information to contact the Crown Point Police Station at 639-0020 or 639-0042 or the Anti-Kidnapping Unit at 688-0556, 688-0553.
