JASMINE  BLEASDELL is the youngest artist to be displaying her work at the third annual International Women’s Day art exhibition at the Rotunda Gallery of the Red House in Port of Spain.

A release from Parliament on Tuesday stated the exhibition under the UN theme Gender  Equality Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow opened on Monday and will run until April 1.

Some of the works featured at this time were from established artists such as Stephen  Haynes, Anika Plowden-Corentin, Patrice Matthews, Allen Brown, Kevin Cummings and Larry Maynard.

In addition to Bleasdell, who has two pieces on show, there are up and coming artists from the St Jude’s Home for  Girls also on display.

The Rotunda Gallery was launched with an  IWD exhibition shortly after the Red House was reopened in January 2020, the release stated.
